good evening those in the know
please could you help.
its my first time owning a type 4 motor and although im not a VW engine virgin im more used to the type1 motor.
please could sombody [point me in the right direction to change the pressure sender ive got a nasty lillt leak and after tightning the oil filter as tight as i can by hand the oil keeps dripping down that area. im guessing i need to remove the tinware but as ive said im new and re cutting teeth.

Any photos to this would be a god send.

the oil pressure switch is just behind the dizzy there's a boot that goes around it if it's still there. you should just see the top of it sticking out the boot with a wire coming out of it. you'll have to take the rubber boot off to get to the switch. it should be a 24mm deep socket to take it out. just remember to put Teflon tape back around it when you put a new one in.
