OKTOBERFEST 2012 BACK TO ORIGINAL DATES

Due to a chain of circumstances caused by the bad weather, it has been decided to postpone Oktoberfest this year by a week to the weekend of the 12th, 13th and 14th of October.
The decision was taken now in order to cause the minimum of inconvenience to people, although the organisers do accept that not everybody will be happy with the decision.

Adrian (the organiser) told us on Sunday morning, the Oktoberfest website will be updated in due course

I've just spoken to Adrian, and an official update will be made on the website later today.

"Sorry guys.

We don’t want to mess anybody around. We thought that it would be helpful to split VanWest and Oktoberfest up by an extra week. But as it is causing some people some problems already, we are quite happy to change it back to the original date.
We only had your best interests in mind, we’re sorry to have confused anybody.

As no tickets have been sold, no pitches allocated and no other advertising has been done other than through our regular channels, all is back to normal.

This is FINAL. We won’t be changing it again!!
