Paint colour confusing newbee!

Just wondering if anyone can help! I'm going to be painting soon and have seen the colour I want. The guy said it was 'Velvet Green' and the code was L512. When I type L512 into a paint finder it comes up as 'VW Samt Green' Does anyone know if they are two of the same or completely different? Also, does anyone know of a decent paint supplier?

According to my records L512 is velvet green like the man says.
