is ther any one on here that has got a bus dopped on 2.5" dropped spindles and standard 14" wheels?

I want to see how much mine will be lowered by when they come :)

Thanks

Mark

Wagenswest dropped spindles and 14s, although I do have adjusters in there too.

thanks

Once I had the trackign sorted (it was towing out off the scale!) it drives really nice, you can throw it into corners if you want and it never lets go.

It's probably down a couple of inches on the adjusters. It was on the floor but I couldn't get it over the speed bumps on my road.

Only thing is the top of the tyres occasionally rub on the wheel arches with two people or more when you go round corners, and that's with 165/65 tyres. 165/60s are probably a better bet, but then you get the beam occasionally hitting the floor.

My beam has had an inch or so chopped off the ends at the bottom too so it's all good now.
It's stock width though.

Just found these photos on the Samba forum,

2.5" drop spindles and one inner spline in the rear.

its not low enough for me! looks like im going to need an adjuster in my beam too!!

bugger

Looking at that mine's more like 3-4 inches down on the adjusters.

With it wound right right down the beam will sit on the floor.

It's a bugger to drive like that though!

One more thing, if you're pulling out into a road where it dips down and then up, you might find if you use the clutch at the wrong time that the pedal hits the road!

Mine is on adjusters at the moment & the back end has been slightly notched with adjustable spring plates ready for a new 4" narrowed beam with new 1 piece dropped ball joint spindles from T2D, hopefully. :D

Would any of you 14" wheel guys like a pair of crows feet with almost brand new 185-60's? They're nicely painted white. What do you reckon they're worth £100? I don't need them as I've got a full set of 15's now. I'll stick an ad up if someone lets me know if I'm in the right ballpark. Ta

i like it, drives great and the slightly widened track isn't noticeable, aside from perhaps making it a tad more stable - you can't see it that's for sure

it does bottom out on bumps when heavily loaded, but only VERY heavily loaded
