Hello

Not sure whether it is me but cannot get my new LHD uber lock to fit as it is shown in the pictures, it seems there is not enough room between the pedals and the steering column to get both the bits behind and locked.

Can anyone assist please ?

It wi fit, just needs encouragement!
I start at the accelerator pedal end then make sure you pull all the pedals forward. It is tight and you needs to tap it into position with the heel if your hand. Once in position add the top piece and align again for the padlock hole.

Just to be sure, the angle section fits between the pedal backs and the column. The other bit sits in front of the pedal levers and locks to the angle bit..

Thanks Jon

Am back at the garage this afternoon so will check again then and let you know how I get on.

Thanks

Simon

Mine doesn't fit either, seems some pedals are just a tad to high

Why didn't I buy my bus years ago !?

Mine didn;t fit either. I did think it was because my cab floor was bowed. But with the the new floor fitted and true I still couldn't get it to fit and because I had just had the pedals and steering column painted decided it wash't for me so sold it :-(

I am going to get one of these instead, a lot more money but should hopefully fit - http://shirefabrications.com/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's a tight fit up against the steering column so I stuck some material around the edge to stop it from scratching my newly painted column.

I hear that you can get cordless angle grinders, so how much use any of these are in reality, but these locks should stop the average thief.

Mine was too tight, so I took an angle grinder to the corner of the angle bit. Much later I found out if you loosen the screws holding the domed bit at the bottom of the column, there is enough play in the outer steering column tube location to allow the lock to slip into place. Hope this helps!
