G`day Abbo,
I don`t think I`ve even pondered that one before and I`d reckon on them being the same. But if you`re not in too much of a hurry
for an answer, I`m off to the Bristol show this weekend and I`ll try and collar two side by side and see if there is anything noticeable but I think they is the same. Ed would know if he`s about I`m sure :mrgreen:

They are the same.
However, I know of purists who wouldn't consider a late Bay one because the glass will have the Audi rings logo etched onto it, in addition to the VW roundel. Whereas early Bay glass only has the latter.

I just knew he`d know :lol: I looked at a few around the line ups but most of the early bays (ours) were on the early bay club stand and not in the show and shine where the later ones were. To be honest ,,, that was the only difference I spotted too :roll: :roll: Well not really,, OK I didn`t notice that little detail at all :mrgreen:
