quick paypal question

hi all, may sound like a silly question, but want to sign up to paypal, but do you need to register for online banking first???? also is paypal fairly straight forward to use???

you can use it as a one off without registering your card - kind of like a switch payment, if you want to register your card it takes a few days to sort it as you need to wait for authorisation, it's dead easy to sort though

cheers rickyrooo1. i want to use paypal for more than one off payment,(selling and buying stuff) just was not sure if you had to set up online banking first. how long does it take to transfer money from paypal to your bank, and visa versa??

if you set up a full account you get charged to withdraw from your paypal account into your bank account if there is a balance of less than £50 in it so if that bothers you then you have to save up until you get more than £50 for a free transfer, the time taken is the same as a switch payment to a shop so about 2 days, it's real easy to set up so you'll be ok.
