can anyone tell me if a westy wardrobe from a late split will fit a bay? also does the westy tag on the front of the bed relate to the year. for example would campmobile 70 relate to a 1970 bus? cheers guys, steve.

You are correct about the Westy plate, on USA buses it also matches the outside plate on the passenger side wheel arch, but I'm not sure about the westy closet.

Hi!

As lb-bus mentions, campmobile 70 is a 1970 bus, same as my own - though as for the plate on the passenger side, I think this only applies to bus sold from new in California to meet their regs. My bus was delivered new to Washington DC, and ended up in San Lorenzo, California, hence no tag on my bus.

Again, dunno about fitting, i have a feeling it'll go in, but the profile is a little different - i think, someone will confirm, probably worth a go if the price is right, i am sure you can always re sell the splitty one on the SSVC forum if need be.

Cheers!

cool that also clears up the mystery of why my westy tin top doesnt have the tag on the passenger wheel arch then. as you say worth a punt if the price is right. cheers, steve.
