I've removed the bumper from my cross over to knock out the dents and re-spray it.

It is clear that there should be brackets that fix the two ends of the bumper to the body work just behind the rear wheels. The problem is, mine seem to have completely rusted away so I have no idea what shape they should be.

Does anyone have any pictures please?

Thanks

Are you refering to the splash gaurds that fit between the bumper ends and the rear corner by any chance? Generally left off over the years....Though still available....

Not sure if they are splash gaurds or not cos they've rusted away! All that's left is one 'tag' of rusty metal bolted to the bumper with a coach bolt.

The only info I can give I'm afraid is that the ends of the bumper, where they curve round past the rear lights, will flap up & down and look like they should be secured.

they were thin steel sheet that curved around the body, used to cut down on the spray and also anchor the ends to the bus
