Hello

I did have rear lap belts in the back of my bay but after picking it up from the garage the belts had been taken out as they did not seem safe and holes had been made in the fabric.

Now I have no belts of any sort in there I would like to know how difficult it is to fit full seat belts ( have a little boy that I would like to fit in the back). looking at my bay I cannot see where or how I could fit them ?

Any ideas would be most welcome.

Thanks

Simon

I'm considering doing the opposite as the three point ones in my bus are a pain, (keep locking)

Why didn't I buy my bus years ago !?

Hi Martin

Really ok well maybe lap belts is the future then just not sure where to start. Think it would be best to drill though the chassis ?

There should be existing mounting points I think

I think it depends on what your van was before it was converted. Most that were micro buses have seatbelt mounts under the rear seat and in the side under the rear side windows. If it was a panel van then the mounts will be missing. Places like justkampers sell mounts that can be welded in. Also depends on what furniture you have in the back. If you have rear cupboards then fitting 3point belts is a problem.

Thanks

Yes mine in a for a life was a panel van so nothing there to connect them to so mounting points is what I need I believe.

Thanks for the information.
