Rear side 3/4 window

Any tips on installing the 1/4 3/4 rear side window on a 69.

Brand new seals so knew it would be tough but jeez!!!

Anyone got any clever ideas?

I ended up putting string round with lube but after it snapped getting bottom in only, used a plastic trim tool to prise the rubber over, took about an hour but slowly slowly!

Just did the 1/4-3/4 on my sliding door last week, very very hard work. Cant open my 1/4 yet either. Cos its all that bloody tight its stuck shut.

Just used the usual string and copious amounts of silicone lubricant. You really need 3 pairs of hands, 2 as a minimum.

Use a decent sized string too, with a large overlap or go around twice if possible.
