When I bought my bus I was told it was dropped 2 splines at the rear, after looking at other buses it seems a little high.

What do you think?

I want it to look like this really

I would say 1 outer only. I think if its 2 splines the spring plates will need to be notched, so that would be a good tell tale.

Mine was 2 and gone back upto 1 as ride quailty with a load in was poor. Now back at 1 spline and the rim just disappears under the arch like your first pic.

whs^^^^

If you drop it 2 outer splines
The ride will be crap - with virtually no suspension when loaded
The camber will wear tyres out within 5K miles
Your CV joints will wear out very quickly
Changing a wheel will be MUCH harder

But you may feel a bit cooler......................................

BJ1,

forgot about the neg camber/tyre wear and what a b%$%^d it was to change a tyre. But it did look much cooler.

Fit air bags, have cool n low and nice on long journeys  Just not sure how you do that

The second pic looks close to my ride height.

Creative adjustable spring plates on the rear, as low as I can go without cutting/notching the chassis.

I did go down the King and link pin route with 3 1/2" dropped spindles on the front (and a 2" narrowed beam).

Other buses to compare are Ego's, Pete B, Grazy, Monkeyspinner.....and more I'm sure. Slammedresto has a similar stance but with balljoint dropped spindles.

I haven't found a cheap way to get this stance with a comfortable ride. But I am open to ideas.

All i will say is your bus is nice and deserves a few more inches.....the second picture looks 8) as

Edit: Easy to change a wheel with adjustables, but if you fit short shocks you will need to undo one bolt....2 minutes.

I dropped mine 1 outer I seem to remember.

It rides nice & is easy to get the wheel off.
