Hi All

How do you go about removing the interior rear view mirror? Ripped my headliner out and cleaned the roof down of all the coco matting and adhesive today but the one item I've not removed yet is the mirror. It's the orig item; showing its age, but I plan to keep. Do you need to peal back the outer texture coating to get to some screw heads?

Cheers

Grab hold of the whole thing and at the installed angle slowly twist to your right about 45 degrees,
it should loosen and come out of the hole. It's a twist grip type fit. In other words as it twists it either gets tighter or looser depending on the direction. I think(memory serves). Good luck.

Cheers guys, you were correct! [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Unfortunately the 45 yrs of sun has had a greater impact than I thought and its crumbling to dust [DISAPPOINTED FACE]

Looks like I'll have to buy a fresh.
