Registration of early bay

Hi, I hope someone can help. I need to register my imported bay and understand it needs to be mot’d first. Is it legal to drive it to the test Center? I have insurance already in place. Thanks in advance.

Nope you no longer need to MOT and early bay as it is exempt.
