Hi all,in the process of repairing a few cracks on the steering wheel and wondered what paint is best to use? Does it req some sort of plasticiser? Cheers rob

i used plastic primer, filler primer, wet sand smooth (800/1200 grit wet and dry) then just satin black was all i used for top coat, i suspect i will be re-visiting it to use 2 pack as i don't know how well the 1 pack will wear

hope this helps

I used milliput, with small files to shape and wet and dry to smooth.

Then sprayed straight onto it with cheap satin black cellulose spray can.. Been like that 2 years now, the paint hasn't worn off or peeled.
