Just enjoyed a good couple of days away but last night with the rain, we evidently have a leak somewhere in the current pop top.
Then upon lowering the roof down before heading home, one of the fixing brackets for the lifting mechanism pulled out of the roof as well

To be fair the roof had been 'fixed' by the previous owner (or the at least the garage he took it too), but only with some type of Mastick??
Looking for ideas on how to best fix it (if possible), maybe fibreglass, carbon fibre??
Or alternatively companies/persons to goto/use for fitting a new roof..?
We've got a straight-lift roof currently, but I quite like the idea of a Westfalia-style lifting roof.
Thanks in advance for any ideas, suggestions or comments
