JK sell a set, with a switch etc (link here http://www.justkampers.com/shop/type_2_bay/type-2-bay-vehicle-accessories/vehicle-electrics/lighting/reverse-light-fitting-kit-j11647.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ).

Has anyone tried to fit one of these or would it be just as easy to have a manual switch to a light at the back?

Maybe there's a better option????

I bought just the switch a few months back, and its still sat in the garage :? , it 1 of the jobs on my list but as i have a manual dash mounted switch its not been a priority so has got further and further down the list. I will fit it honest (just dont know when)

Novice scale of about 2-3.
You need to remove a blanking plug out of the side of the gearbox (think there are clearance issues as it tight against something), fit the switch in its place and run a ignition (switched) wire to 1 side of the switch and the other side goes to your light of choice, then earth your light.
Not to hard but people have had issues with the switch (think someone needed to add another washer as it was permanently made so the reverse light was on all the time) but nothing to bad.

Hiya Tez,

Looks pretty much like what have as OEM on our Busses over here in the States. The price seems to be a pretty good deal.

A hint: on the stock OEM back-up light circuit the in-line fuse holder is placed so that a clamp holds it just above the coil.
