Roof repair trouble

I am having the roof of my panel repaired. Cut away the roof to put the new gutters in and have revealed another problem.
They are apparently called 'cant rails'. I have been searching for these. Does anyone know if they are commonly known as something else?

I'd suggest you ask a mod to move this to 'technical', can you also post a pic as that would make it easier for others to reply -help us and we'll do our best, we're a friendly bunch on here

If its one of the inner side profiles you could get some made up at a fabricators.

There`s a link above that may aid you in your mission. You`ll see I did virtually what you is about to do but I replaced the roof panel as well. Didn`t realise they was called cant rails but mine were called similar but with a U when I found out they was buggered as well :lol: Yours seem to be buggered on the straight bits so not too bad to fix, but your roof panel will need cuts as the gutter repair sections available aren`t really much like the original. Don`t know anyone that would stock these, but possibly someone like Rusty (on here) who actually parts out old busses may be able to help out with `C*nt rails :lol:
