My bay is a '68 too, just a regular kombi tho but it's being converted to a westy.
Yours is a little worse than mine, but if I did it over again I would have replaced all of the floor unlike now I only replaced the outer sections. Just a tip 'cause I think you'll be replacing a whole lot of steel aswell...
