Had a great week away in Eskdale, lake District. 700 mile round trip and the old bus never missed a beat. Even went over Hardknott Pass!!! Many people smiling and pointing but chug chug chug in 1st most of the way up and down!! Great holiday and i would truly recommend fisherground campsite to anyone with kids!!

Did you attempt Wrynose pass?, we got a t25 caravelle stuck on there, couldn't get traction!

Heading to the lake district tomorrow for a couple of days, then onwards and upwards to Scotland for the weekend, then back down thru lake district once more on the return journey Monday. Any pointers to local attractions, things to do whilst there would be appreciated.

my mrs made that mistake two years ago in a tourist information in the lake district, the women behind the counter told her to turn round and look out the window haha brilliant.
