IMG_4994.jpegIMG_4997.jpegIMG_5003.jpegAnd the last one is in between the front seats of a vented piece to vent the rear of the fridge with the CB on the front and the mains tranny bhidden behind to not be seen . A small charging shelf in the cab with an on off switch, twin usbs with a charge indicator and ciggy style plug too but hard to see which is what I wanted.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,subtle ?:)

OK,,,it looks great and all under control but I’m afraid it’s gone mahoosivly Peteeeee Tongersss..
First test drive, it would all be seemingly tickety boo, and even up to our local Asda but it was just itching to go west. So everything seems to work and all the electrics were behaving and there was nothing smoking or even simmering. Coming back from Asda at the traffic lights, waiting there on red, in loads of traffic. Gave him a bit of a squirt just to get off the lights and the fridge shot out the back on his runners with a big Cclanggg. I thought the spring pressure of the soft close runners would have held it in place. But if it did this empty, what’ll it do when full of Stella???
Drove the rest of the way home like Mr Kipling, exceedingly sedate mate. Anyway, got home, no damage, just need to get back to the drawing board and put the brakes on this runaway cooler, or this fast fridge :ROFLMAO:

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,was not expecting that :)

:)I'm looking at your electrics with bewilderment at the mo ha. Have you tested your fridge yet Oz and how cool does it get ? 🤙.
Well I’ve tested the fridge to a certain degree. It works well on the mains and over a ten minute period, I fired him up and he went from 8.5’ to 5’ in just under ten minutes. The fridge motor also fired up straight off the ‘Leisure’ battery which is actually my old van battery so I’m fairly confident it’s cool so to speak <<< see what I did there . It’s just about stopping him sliding about whilst driving. I hadn’t planned on it but I’ll have to devise some sort of restraint, a seat belt as it were for the fridge, perhaps some sort of ratchet strap or even a rucksack type arrangement in reverse. My half asleep mind has been jumbling over various options, but it needs to be simple and fairly quick or it’ll get forgotten.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, I thought I’d sorted it toon:)

Where did you source a) the fuse box and b) the custom Sherbie and Ozziedog name plates (or whatever you call them)?
The fuse box and split charge relay came as a kit supplied to me by C.J. Motors (Nick) and part of it was the large 60 amp fuses for both the batteries. I’ll get a picture tonight bud. :)
The custom badges were knocked up by a member on here who was cnc ing them in stainless and triple chroming them for an absolutely ridiculous price years ago. Turned out that he didn’t work there for much longer after he made loads of these for all our members
There seems to be someone on social media doing a similar thing, not sure on how good they are though but looks promising, just need to get someone else to be the Guinea Pig
