yes a male, looks like a uk house spider, the council guy reckons they can bite too just not as dangerous, the female is the four most venomous in the world :zombie:
I found a brown widow spider on the inside of my wheel! 5 mins earlier I'd been lying a few inches from it while fitting brake hose clips. Only spotted it when I took the wheel off! brake cleaner didn't kill it, just made it run faster  the hammer slowed it down
Wow
Funny u should show us this!
I was wondering about spiders in my Cali westy as I was digging around under the seats the other day !
I didn't find any but I was thinking to myself ' u just never know '
Found a couple underneath mine when I first got it didn't take any risks and blow torched them, following day found one in my garage door which received the same treatment.
Year later whilst driving home from a weekend camping I got bite on my ankle below the shoe line and it absolutely killed! Never found anything in my shoe or any thing near it but it was like a pulsating wasp sting which lasted for 6 hours! Phoned NHS direct and they told me to lie with my leg above my heart just in case!
I guess the sting could have been anything but I was paranoid it was one if these black widows lol
Sod that  I don't mind the spiders but it's the toxic bites. I got bit once by a horse fly when fishing ( so they recon, no idea what they are ) my arm blew up for 2 - 3 days. :?
