Sliding Door Problem

Hi Guys, my sliding door used to work fine then it came back from the paint shop and ever since the door no longer stays open. It used to 'click' and hold open and you would lift the handle to close it.

I've had a look at the mechanism but cant work out where it's got stuck or broken? anyone else have any tips on this?

Theres a small lever on the ally block / mechanism which sits under the forward end of the runner cover. it is spring loaded by a small spring.
If this was jammed with paint from the sray job then it would not stay open.
Check that the little lever is still spring loaded.

hi, thanks for the info, i took a look today and the latch is all working fine and i can see where the latch used to fit in to the door part as it's worn, but now the inner handle doesn't allow the door back that far and has gotten scuffed from where it is hitting the strike plate on the frame.
