Hiya jim,
A hint about door seals in general...............
When you initially install a seal use as little adhesive as you can. Only enough to keep it in place in spots where it seems to want to sag. Run with it like that for a few days. This "run-in" time gives the seal a chance to stretch and conform to the opening in which it must live the rest of its life. You wind up with a seal with pretty much equal tension all the way around - and that's a good thing.
After it's been in a few days and adjusted itself, then go back with the adhesive for a more permanent fix. Pull out about a foot to 18 inches at a time, glue it and press it back in place. The seal will be happier and you will too.
