Sliding door

Should you be able to close the sliding door from the inside,or are we all chauffeurs to anyone who gets in the back. Cheers...Dave

i close it when the wife or kids are in the back, but i also close it from the inside when camping, used to take 3 of 4 times, but i now have the knack

I got the door to shut perfect from the outside as it should do,lifting the handle up to nip the back in and all that.But when I fitted the new seal ,you had to slam it shut.
So today Ive been playing around with the catch and got it to pull in at the back again but its sticking out a tad more than it should do and it won't close from the inside.
Not sure weather it did before hence the question More adjusting needed I think

when i took my door card off my sliding do i fitted the inside handle further round as it looked wrong in the first place, this ment i could open it a lot easier on the inside but could not make the seal after closing it so i put it back how it was, facing down
