solar panel

I could do with some advice on selecting an easy to use solar panel for my crossover bay. We are attending a 4 night festival in the summer and there is no hook up, so i thought a solar panel might just help keep the beers cold that little bit longer!!

Is there anything that can just be hooked up to the battery and left out in the sun?

If you just want a standalone fold up type solar panel they are available from different outlets. I had one when i got my new fridge. It worked fine, but as I move around when camping, it was a bit of a faff having to set it up each time.

In the end I mounted a framed panel on the roof rack so it's always there and set up. It's a 100 watt panel and keeps the LB topped up well. My installation of the panel etc is on my thread in Autumn 2020 if you're interested.
