We used 25mm kingspan in the cavities for warmth and will be using the thin loft stuff (silver foil) above the head lining. Just filling the cavities has made a hell of a difference.

No sorry! I had it off site (I'm in the building industry)

do you reckon it's worth using sound deadening AND insulation? I've got some leftover insulation (not sure what type it is but it's not the slab type) which I was thinking of using (knew it would come in use at some point!). I've also got leftover damp proof underlay used for laminate flooring (cheap from B&Q) which I thought about for the floor.
Would it be worth using?

And Strongy, what make is that sound deadening
Thanks all

not sure on the make bud, just standard motor factors stuff,it wasent 3m or anything.just find a local factors and ask them for the stickyback sound deadening pads.

i use this company as there shop is 2 mins from my door, the websites a bit crap and dosent list the pads, sure it cost me £30 to do the whole rear(as seen in pics)

I wouldn't advise using loft insulation, I know a mineral fibre was used originally but it it does get wet it will hold the water
