I'm sure there must be a thread for this but can't find one.

I have a 68 bay and want to lower it, not too bothered about narrowing but want clearance to go fairly low.

Have read that a K and L beam is 26mm narrower and fits straight on an early bay. Is this true?

Looking at dropped spindles, adjusters, adj spring plates rear.

Don't want to notch and tub at this point, just drop and drive.

Thoughts appreciated

Thanks

Andy

Great thread Sparkywig, is that a standard width beam? Lovin the tuckidge. Do the discs add any width? You runnin adj beam and dropped spindles?

Stock beam with Futbus disc kit is same width as standard.
Tuckage all depends on wheel offset as well.
Beam fitted with CSP adjusters and Transporterhaus dropped spindles, adjusters were welded in further around the tubes than normal to get full adjustment up and down.

Perfect, thanks. Are they standard steelies you're running?

Don't know, depends when the picture was taken......

If they're black, that's split bus 15" solids. Red will be Type 3 15" slots.

Thanks, I'll check out specs. Probably the later pics.
