It isn't often that a supplier goes the extra mile for very little reward, but my recent experience of Stan proves that he is good 'un.
I ordered a length of alloy trim for a Devon table, only about £30 all in, but after a week it hadn't arrived, so I nudged him. Stan replied that he had posted the trim immediately but that, if I could check with the neighbours, etc., he would pop a duplicate in the post. And he did, no hassle, and very apologetically. He seemed genuinely concerned. That was Monday - he trudged through the Yorkshire snow to take it to the PO.
I get an email today (Wednesday) from Stan, saying that the original had been returned by the PO as he had missed my house number off the label. He could not apologise enough. And minutes later there was a knock at my door and the duplicate parcel arrived.
Can't say fairer than that. Makes a nice change from some of the more dubious customer service stories we read on here. Nice one Stan, you have one very satisfied customer.
