Is this worth any $$ ? Unfortunately the thread that attaches to the pitman arm is cut off. Despite that it is working well.

Someone was selling a nos pin (bit that's damaged) on the samba a while back. Maybe rebuild it and sell it for £££

I've just purchased an early bay steering box off flebay
Seems to b in good condition?
What would you expect to pay for a second hand box in good condition?
Not sure if I've paid to much or not?

The internal is good. It was removed because there was vagueness in the steering, but it was the Swivel Pin or what it's called. So i thought it was the box

on my old van the rust was so bad I removed the box without taking the arm off haha,

and that arm was one cow to release even with it off the van locked in a vice!

anyway that bus has been recycled and I have one spare pitman arm in my garage :lol:

hindsight is easy but I think I would of stuck the grinder through the arm not the box :?

No nothing I know of. There was a box some time ago completely nos and it went for £200
