Nahhhhh.

The way I see it is - I can't see my bus when I'm inside it so it might as well be comfy and as VW intended which allows me access anywhere. When I want to look at a cool looking bus I just check your ones out!!
Or am I just trying to convince myself it doesn't need slamming!!!

Stock all the way. Lowered buses look cool but I like being higher than other cars.

slightly lower on commercial tyres........only to take the bum twitching out on the bends

chris

no one spline rear with cut and turn beam front 3 inch drop :msn4: .........i made sure it was a tiny bit higher at the front to maintain that stock like appearance......... with rated r14 commercial tyres rides lovely no banging or scrapping :D ..........the tyres make a massive difference ,steel walled tyres rather than nylon makes you really feel in contact with the road :D

if thts true martin, i just need to find ONE fella who is going back to stock height to find my pair of cheap dropped spindles to lower mine :D

in a gok voice "slamming is so last year"

Stock is the new low, everyone knows that - and white westys are the best, but you already knew that anyway! ;)

Alistair

Would be nice to be cool for once... 8)

Mine handles, rides and stops just fine Rob.
Although I have spent 5 years getting it to this point.
And after Christmas it'll go just as well.

:)

Never owned a stock bus in nearly 30 years.

Crede's bus looks to be a nice compromise in my view.
But, nothing wrong with up or down - what ever takes your fancy (and tyres can make or break how it rides and handles also).

I am planning to leave mine stock, but never say never (****, I just did....)

Just my useless tuppence worth.

Now why did you have to go and say that! got me thinking how much money i'd need to spend now

I drove a few slammed busses of my friends but the ride was more or less bad compared to a stock bus.
You always have to look for putholes and speedbumps ( we have the most speedbumps in the entire world  ) so not relaxed at all, and the difference once you step in a stock bus :D
A set of good tires and shocks transforms a boat into a good driving bus!!
I like the look of a slammed bus but not on my one so stock for me!

yep cool looking buses.... but stock drive so much smoother and you can go anywhere in them that's why vw built them like that

hardened stock bus driver :D

come on lets see more cool stock buses
