strange westy table leg?

Hello,

Saw this piccie in a samba add in the US and haven't seen this table setup on an early before? Is it a standard mod or something random?

Can see it being useful for leg room but surely must get in the way when the table is not in use!

its just a late one i think. i've got the interior in mine. campmobile 1974-ish i believe mine is.

table folds in half and can be pushed back:

ah o.k - so they've got a later buddy seat in the place where the usual early buddy seat would go - hence also the lack of poppers on the back of the chair - that makes sense

not sure about the seat but they may have just bought a late table and fixed it to the seat they already had. mix and match style

This style of table was fitted to some of the EB westies SO69's, like mine which I sold
