i'm off to Woodbridge for a long wkend on Sat.
Any suggestions on what I shouldn't miss, places to drink/eat out, decent walk/bike routes?

Where in Woodbridge you staying?? nice river in woodbridge, Tangham forest just out side of woodbridge is nice and quiet and there are loads of walks in the area, lived here all me life so just do not appreciate the place, do not go into town much (actually live in nearby village) if you fancy a short drive and bite to eat i reccommend Blaxhall Ship in Blaxhall best to book though, 01728688316, it is a bit off the beaten track, but always busy. a bit further out you have got aldeburgh,(POSH SEASIDE TOWN) i thinkthis weekend is the is carnival weekend there.
Is there anything in particular you like doing, will see if i can think of anything else?

Seriously, we did the same holiday a couple of months back. Check out the new Adnams Brewery shop in Southwold. Its an awesome new building full of beer! Aldeburgh is really nice too. We worked our way down the coast from Southwold down to Woodbridge, checking out the towns, villages and beaches on the way.

We are camping near Bredfield.
I'll be there with my Red/Silver/Red 69 Tin Top, so give a wave if you see me.
Taking Bikes, so happy to jolly around on them and can drive wherever.
Just seems a pitty to miss any decent sights/spots whilst I'm there.

funny coincidence, we're up there this weekend too. Camping in Rendlesham forest. Look out for my early, savanah beige, white top. The missus took her up yesterday with kids and aunt, i'm going up today

What a lovely part of the world you live in Grazy, have only been there once before but my wife has family in Ipswich so knows the area. Didn't go into Woodbridge but hear its ace. Orford, thorpeness (bit posh) were good. Must say a pint of Adnams with a bit of lunch at the Ramsholt Inn in the sun was the highlight.

Hi Mate yeah it is a lovely part of the country i live in but to be honest i take it for granted , next time pop down to Woodbridge and have a pint in the Cherry Tree , my local its lovely 8)

Hi matt-me, did see your bus at rendlesham forest i was there as well all weekend camping was ment to take me bus but never got it done in time so i had to settle for a caravan and me merc lol.
we were the nosiey large family camped near the toilet area .
anyway your bus looks great next time i will pop over and say hello
