Like the title says, the generator on Joy's '67 Bug has given up the ghost - does anyone know who'd be the cheapest supplier for a (new) replacement?

I bought a used one on Fleabay a few months back just to tide her over, but it's a false economy and a new one beckons now (it's not the hardest job in the world to fit a new one but I don't want to have to do it every few months!)!!

Also, can anyone confirm that it's the 28Amp version I'll need?

Thanks all...

Juss

Hi Juss, as you've already found out the old adage "the cheapest isn't always the best value" is often true, I tend to get most of my Bug ('69) bits from Heritage the prices are competitive and the quality is pretty good, but then again I might have missed the best supplier out there and been paying over the odds
Good Luck
Nick.
