Near perfect condition inside and out. 4 berth original Westfalia interior that is in excellent order and unmolested – original carpets in place but covered with replacement carpet to protect, the original westy plaid cushions are in place in good condition but in the picture they are covered with seat covers to protect, original curtains and cushions and cabinets, table, all in great shape. Full width bed in pop top (not child’s hammocks). Full restoration on exterior around 3 years ago with all rust cut out, some panel replacement including arches, battery trays and full respray in original colour – no filler!. Completely solid underneath and regularly wax oiled. Replacement Vege engine, starter motor, clutch, heat exchangers, brakes, wheel bearings, fuel lines and brake /accelerator /clutch cables, commercial tyres to name a few. New leisure battery 80amp and new engine battery (Bosch). All leisure ancillaries such as 3 way fridge, sink pump, audio – 6 cd player, 12 volt TV with Freeview, play station 2 (for games and DVD) all rewired by professional auto wiring company. Fully serviced every 3000 miles and never failed an MOT. This van has travelled all over Europe with my family and this year covered Sweden and Denmark – very reliable and well maintained with no oil leaks and is water tight to the elements. Taxed and 6 months MOT.
This is a great original example in stock condition – left hand drive. Included in the sale is a great condition awning (from the 1970’s) in green and beige, a cover, bike rack (never used) 1 x 907 camping gaz bottle for 3 way fridge and hob and a number of spare parts that I carry for the van in case of emergency when travelling abroad (and Haynes and other manuals)
