Hey dude, ace one. Are they sneeky radars on that? look sweet as hell 8)

I'd get some tyres on them randars too if i were you  Hopefully i'll see you over there next week so good luck 8)

OK, been home about 10 mins.. Here's what I got done today.

1. Fitted new fuel line down from fuel tank, as the old one was shocking.
2. Cleaned and fitted fuel tank bulkhead (mine's a 68 bus built a few days after the bulkhead was introduced)
3. Fitted engine and rear valance (did the crank seal and exhaust last night)
4. Narrowed a rust free bare link pin beam I had lying around, this took a few hours! Now welded up with laser cut shock towers. Narrowed from the ends, as I have new bushes to put in. Painted the beam
5. Removed some old steel plates someone had bolted to the rear bumper for roof rack access and welded up the holes by clamping a bit of aluminium behind the holes. localised Primer and and bit of pastel white (all I had) and re-fitted the bumper.

Pics and update on the blog at http://www.thebusstation.com more tomorrow after the Holton show in the morning. MOT booked at 3pm Monday!!

Scratch what I said about Holton! Wasted 3 hours going to a dead show today  . I am sure it would have been good if the sun was shining though.
Got home and put a few hours in at the workshop. Stripped a donor beam for some parts, fitted the leaves and shortened/re-drilled them. Removed the bearing sleeves from the arms and fitted them into the new bushes. Then fitted the beam to the bus. MOT tomorrow on standard split spindles, then if it passes I will build the drop spindles tues and lower the rear.

The bus is back on it's wheels. albeit at stock height for the MOT. I knocked the MOT back till tomorrow, as I was running out of time. I have a few small jobs left to do tomorrow, then it's MOT at 5 pm. A mate came over to help me with some wiring issues and fitted some temporary headlamps, as the ones I ordered still haven't arrived. Pics on the blog at http://www.thebusstation.com

Just got to drop the back and adjust down the front, drop spindles and Randars will have to wait till I return. After working all weekend I am beat. I have to prepare a 72 that I have sold for an MOT and engine swap as well this week, so now I have the MOT it will have to take more of a back seat to get some money in the door.
