Torsion Leaves ..

I know its kinda irrelevant cos i've ordered a red9 kit, but when you restack the torsion leaves are they usually welded at both ends of the stack?

The ones i have have just started to come apart a little, but i wanted to weld and clean them before i put them away in my spares pile..

They're loose, welded at some stage for convenience maybe?

I have several spare sets of eb torsion bars. They were welded at one end at the factory to make them easy to slide into the centre of the beam.

Really? I've only seen one set, my own, which weren't welded. :mrgreen:

Both sets on the new and old beam were both welded on one side, think it was the N/S. Hed to reweld as the weld had come undone on the new beam.

cheers guys ... the 2 set i have were welded just on one end, but had broken away ..

that answers the question then!
