Tree sap / Bird poo?

Huge tree at the end of my drive leaves both cars and the bus covered in sap/aphid sick/bird poo.
Provided I rinse/wash regularly this won't damage my paint work will it?

On going nightmare every summer.

Great link cheers. I can park far enough up the drive to escape most of the bird poo but the sticky sap stuff gets everywhere.
Also interesting to read about the bugs. Just driving around the corner and my front panel is covered in them. Probably explains all the rust spots.
