Type 3 Brake and earlybay wheel Question !

I know it's not strictly an earlybay question but it is Technical and I wasn't sure where to post it! I have a friend with a notchback and he wants to use my old 14" wide five steel wheels on his notch to lower it down an inch along with some other suspension mods. My question is will my old 14inch wide 5 wheel fit over type 3 brakes ? Does anyone know the offset of a standard 14 inch steel as well?

Haven't got the measurements to hand, but type 3 wheels have greater offset. I'll dig them out later when I get home.
Nice wheels though, got a set on my bus.

Here we go.

Type 2 - 5x 205mm 5" x 14" wheel offset is 47.5mm (1.870")
Type 2 - 5x 112mm 5.5 "x 14" wheel offset is 41mm (1.614")

Type 3 - 4.5" x 15" wheel offset is 46mm (1.811")

Thank you sparky! Does anyone know if 14 inch steels will fit a type 3 I.e will they clear the brakes?
