I have a type 4 engine out of a Porsche 914, it has been rebuilt by Francis Tuthill Porsche in Oct 2008, did 800 miles then taken out of the 914 for a scooby conversion. Since then has been on a Engine stand in my garage..
It is now fitted with with a Jake Raby DTM upright cooling kit, and come with 200mm lightened flywheel and LAPerformance JTubes and back box (Exits the normal beetle exhaust holes)..
Rebuilt to 2.0
Eurorace E grind Cam
Twin 40's (with new CSP Linkage) Need filters
200mm flywheel
DTM cooling kit
New dakin cluth and Kennedy stage 1 to go with the engine
The engine has reciepts from Tuthill porsche for a **** load of dosh as you would expect from a Porsche specialist.. I also have a dyno (rolling rd) print out
It made 111BHP @ 4969 RPM and 123 FT LBS Torque & 4223 RPM
i suspect this would make a bit more power with the LAP exhaust and if you wanted to put 44's on
Not massive but enough to put a smile on your face, or power an EB along nicley
All laser cut ali panels to fit in a beetle engine bay. I have all the front cooling if you wanted to convert back to suitcase engine,
Looking for £2700 may px or swap for a beetle
