Lap belts

The rear lap belts which were added to my '73 T2 would struggle to fit anyone with more than a 30 inch waistline. Any recommendations fof where you can get longer lap belts? Thanks

Just get a belt extender.

I’ve read these are only legal (and so coverable under insurance) if you need them for genuine obesity reasons ans you can’t use a standard belt. Not sure if it actually states this in any actual legislation.

There are several custom seat belt manufacturers here and over the pond and I guess over in Europe too. Teddy at CJ Motors has just fitted some custom made harness styled belts into his Karman Ghia and awesome and some would be the best description . He’s probably got a picture somewhere, Nick might know where they came from.
