Anyone reckon I'll squeeze a pair of 205/70s on the rear of my '71 bay?

Will have Flat4 5.5 Fuchs on 20mm adapters.

Cheers.

Hello mate, I have 205 X 70 X 15s on mine, fit like a dream but takes a bit of wiggling to get them in as there is not enough room to get past the arch  Worth it the as they look sick!

You don't know what offset the wheels are by any chance? I can calculate form there, cheers.

Good question! dont know im afraid

What size front tyres are peeps using on lowered bays?
I had 165/65s on my old oval on 6" Fuchs but will they go on 4.5s?

Mine is as lowered as I can get it currently (about an inch off the top of the wheel to the arch. Never hit or had any dodgy happenings and that is on big tyres 205 X 70 X 15.

I am sorting out a new beam as we speak to narrow the front so that I can go lower :D

Will change the tyres at some point so I can hit the deck, but to honest i love the ride and look of slightly bigger tyres :D

You've 205/70s all 'round? That's hardcore

This will be my first bus and I'm still thinking in terms of Cal-look beetle tyre options.

Not only hardcore but sick! looks ace in my opinion, every one else does a slammed bus on smart car tyres with brms etc done its been done a million times. Go for something different thats what makes your van that bit more special. I think it works quite well, dont you? :D 8)
