Can you buy hubcaps in anything other than chrome?
Looking for a new set of caps but i want to spray them to suit the wheels rather than have chrome so after a set of primed? plain? caps for standard 14" narrow 5's

I bought the really cheap ones from Heritage about 8 quid each ( the ones that rust overnight)
had them powder coated satin black all over for £20...2 winters & still look perfect ;)

Are these the cheap chrome 1's?

Hi sorry to go off track a bit, but found these a while ago for anyone who is fed up with crap chrome, not cheep but stainless should last a long time http://www.autocrafteng.co.uk/products.asp?id=175&mnu=mnu10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I had a set of cheap chrome ones blasted and powder coated in grey and they looked the nuts and the finish was perfect.

The cheap chromes comes off so easy and leaves a nice surface ready for the paint, well this is what they told me.

I have been in the loft today and have 5 cheapo type caps that would be ideal for blasting/painting.

You can have them for £25 posted or £20 collected.

Can post pics if you want. They have been up there for about 10 years and show a bit of surface rust.

Mike
