This scarf has been hand knitted using Araucania hand painted yarn for a bespoke finish. Each hank of yarn used is different; its individual beauty emerges as the artisans blend colour to create several unique, interwoven shades.
The yarn is inspired by the sights and the nature of Chile. Its dyeing processes are based on ancient techniques of the native mapuches, producing yarns full of quality, history and originality, always with harmony with the environment.
Designer colour name: Tepa
Tepa is a native tree from the South of Chile; it can reach 30m high with 1.4m large of diameter. It has a thin bark and its wood is pale grey with a slight touch of yellow.
Each beautiful scarf is a genuine one-off; incorporates a slit, allowing the end to be pulled through for easy and chic style.
Measurements: 7.5" (19 cm) x 34.5" (88 cm)
Fiber content: 70% Wool, 20% Mohair and 10% Silk.
These natural fibres are luxurious, breathable, durable, eco-friendly and sustainable.
Washing instructions:
Dy cleaning is recommended.
Gently hand was with cool water and mild soap.
Dry flat, do not sun dry, soak, spin or tumble dry.

Her knitting is of a very high standard. She has knitted for Kaffe Fassett, Brandon Mably and other renown designers.
