Well that was worth it!!!!!!!!!!!
Upton on Severn Blue's Festival is a free festival and well worth a trip.
We went for the whole time. Paid £70 for the two of us to camp for 4 nights(in Boris) which included:
Camping in a large field (anywhere)
Free hot showers
Sufficient toilets for Ladies and Gents
24 Hour security

For four nights that was a good price. The music is played throughout the town, in all the pubs, the town hall
a church hall and on the sports field. Oh and the river cruiser has a band on board and is a fiver for an hours trip with music and full bar should you need it.
The walk from the field to the town took all of 3 minutes and crossed the scenic view of the boat laden Severn
with all kinds arriving for the festival.
From what we gathered this year the people numbers out did even their expectations and a good time was had by all, we neither heard of or saw anything go wrong the whole time we were there.
All ages attended as the music is NOT all blues and there is a nice eclectic mix for all to enjoy.

The picture of the late bay as it was on it's way to the field to serve drinks from.(apparently it does not do long distances and is ferried to sites and then can be driven into position.)
So everyone knows I have no affiliation to this / or any connection to the people who put this on.
Just thought you might like to hear about a value for money good time , they don't happen much these days.
Hope this works.
