US spec indicator stalk?

I've narrowed down my lighting issues to the indicator stalk which will need replacing.
The current one has 7 wires which seems to be identified as US spec by AHSchofield and Just Kampers. Does this mean someone has fitted the "wrong" part in the past or would this be the correct one for my 1970 UK bus?

Sorry I can’t really help but it says on A Schofield site you won’t need to use all the wires for UK buses. To me that implies it fits. You could call them and ask maybe? If that one you have fits and used to work and the one for sale is the same, then it will probably be ok, I can’t see another indicator stalk for 68-70 buses on their site.

It fits, you don't use the grey core.
