i'm going to the goodwood revival this weekend (DJ-ing a bit) where there's going to be some entertainment laid on as a bit of a toe tester/warm up for the main event next year, vintage at goodwood.

details on the site say that anyone coming in classic campers will get preferential treatment and rates for camping:

looks to be a good event, if you like a bit of retro/nostalgia of course.

the vintage website has been updated. more info now.

the vintage camping rate is £80 for the weekend as opposed to £150 for modern vehicles:

and a good run down of whats on:

That looks like a real good show, but camping @ £80 and entrance tickets @ £135 each for the weekend?

I might go if it's £80, but not £350!! Or am i reading this wrong?

Good luck on your gig!

Cheers!

Alistair

it looks like it would be a brilliant bit of nostalgia and obviously will cost alot to put on but i think the prices will put alot of people off including me.

i hadn't checked the prices but yes, it looks as if you're right. but its pitched at a similar level to festival prices. e.g. iow festival is about £150 ticket, campervan costs another £150 i think.

it does look like it will be good quality though. the goodwood revival is fantastic and although a different event i think it will be good.
