Volks wares rock n roll bed fitting

When fitting the Volkswares Rock n roll bed I was advised to use m8 60mm bolts. I pre drilled the pilot holes and checked underneath for clearance and discovered the left leg of the bed drills through directly above the prop!! Be careful!! As the 60mm bolt would be sitting directly on top of it!! Here's a photo I took using a 40mm bolt.
