Ok I know this has been discussed before but couldn't find anything relevant using the search function.

My son wants to swap his current car (Citreon Saxo) for a Classic VW Beetle to get him onto the VW ladder but is not sure where to start looking for insurance quotes. FJ are not interested as they only insure over 25's, I suggested he try Herts & Adrian Flux but is there anyone else out there he should be trying?

He's had a couple of 'accidents' already but they were over 12 months ago, any suggestions?

a friend of mine has just got ensured at 23 and it cost £350 for the year. I will ask where she got the quote from. 8)

Mine is with Lancaster.. It's a classic policy but I'm not sure if they have an age restriction.

Another to try at least.

Cheers

Since when?

;)

I've been insured with them since I was 17 on my beetle (they won't insure me on a van though!), and they will even insure me fully comp with a high agreed value and 1641 with twin 40s for a very reasonable price. :)

i got insured when i was 18 on my van for about £800 now its down to £550 ish im 19 - adrian flux with unlimted mialeage .breakdown cover etc :)

Just to add if anyone says i can hav limited miles less than 9000, that will get the price down like wise being a memeber of the T2OC will get your premium down again. so will just telling them you read ALL the magazines even if ya dont as will playing 3 companies off against each other

It all Helps
