westy roof canvas

merry xmas to all .has anyone tryed fitting the cheep £150 roof canvas to a westy roof do they fit ok .or do i bite the bullet and pay £340 for one .also i need the holding down cleats times three and the wire thing that sits at the back for the bed support thanks mark

I've got a £150 JK canvas on my westy and it's fine. Chris aka panelvan helped me fit it and said it's good and he is a westy guru! :mrgreen:

hia, we fitted ourselves the £100 one off ebay early last year and its fine..ps. was'nt the cost option why we bought just feed back off lots of people and some would'nt go the expensive canvas route again,so that sold it for me. if any help a fella round the corner with a latebay had tons of trouble getting the 'better' of the canvas to fit where ours was bang on.. fluke ? dont know..
